Our 5-day EC-Council Certified Security Analyst and Licensed Penetration Tester Certification Program teaches Security Professionals the advanced uses of the available methodologies, tools and techniques required to perform comprehensive information security tests. "If you need to know the weaknesses of technologies like Web 2.0, .NET, Java, etc. since these are used in building today’s webs which are targeted by attacks quite heavily, ECSA/LPT course is not the right one. If you are looking for the theory how to do penetration testing of the ICT infrastructure and need to know how to deliver it to the customers, ECSA/LPT is the course for you. If you are lucky and have Firebrand instructors, you will learn even the practice part of it doing interesting real life based penetration testing exercises and summarize the results in the report same way you are going to do it in real customer scenario."

ECSA
The ECSA program certifies individuals in the analysis of outcomes from hacking technologies and tools. To achieve the ECSA certification, candidates must pass exam 412-79 that covers interpreting and analysing outcomes you come across during routine and exceptional security testing.
LPT
If you wish to become a Licensed Penetration Tester (LPT), you must register with EC-Council after attending the course to prove you meet the following requirements:
- Achieve Certified Ethical Hacker (C|EH) Certification
- Achieve EC-Council Certified Security Analyst (ECSA) certification
- Complete LPT Training Criteria:
- Fill out LPT Application form and pay $500 fee to EC-Council
- A training source agreement approval should be endorsed by the sponsoring agency
- Documentation on criminal background check, or an authentication from an investigation agency absolving a criminal history
- Resume with detailed professional experience, previous certification / certificates and references for verification to be submitted
- Agree to EC-Council Code of Ethics

Students who are successful in E|CSA & L|PT Certification should possess:
- Experience with Windows and/or UNIX/LINUX operating systems, along with knowledge of TCP/IP and networking
To achieve the LPT designation, you must also meet the following requirements:
- Achieve Certified Ethical Hacker (C|EH) Certification
- Achieve EC-Council Certified Security Analyst (ECSA) certification
