Sales

Danish-, Swedish- and Norwegian-speaking Internal Sales People required at the fastest growing training company in the Nordics.

Firebrand Training continues its fast and aggressive growth across the Nordic market. This provides an excellent career opportunity for Danish, Swedish and Norwegian speaking sales people, who are interested in working in an international environment. You will, over the phone, sell the best IT training product in the industry to private and corporate customers, and get truly rewarded for achieving and over-achieving targets.

Firebrand Training provides accelerated residential certification training, specialising in IT and IT-related subjects, including: Microsoft, Cisco, Novell, Sun, CompTIA, (ISC)2, EC-Council, Oracle, ITIL, PMI and Prince2, as well as other well-known vendor-specific or vendor-neutral certifications.

As an important part of the company's vision to become the leading global training company within the next 10 years, we opened our Nordic headquarters in Denmark in 2009, from where we serve our Nordic and Baltic customers. Despite the tough market conditions, we've had a fantastic start, with an explosive growth in sales . We have been awarded status as Partner Development Centre for Microsoft, which means that we will be managing and delivering all of their training and development activities towards the partner community. We want to continue that development and are therefore looking for additional sales talent.

The Nordic business is a smaller - but very dynamic and ambitious - part of the company. With this comes the opportunity for career growth, you can impact the way the company operates. You will work in a very international environment, surrounded by people from other countries, and as part of your induction and training program you will initially spend some time at our head office in central London.

Responsibilities

The overall purpose of the role is to sell Firebrand Training courses to private individuals, contractors and corporate accounts.

Key Responsibilities include:
  • Out-bound sales calls to leads provided from marketing campaigns
  • Cold calling potential client accounts
  • Keeping up-to-date records of sales activity in our CRM system
  • Producing accurate forecasts and pipeline information
  • Contributing as part of the Sales team; to new ideas, approaches or techniques
  • Keeping up-to-date on relevant technologies and product offerings from vendors and partners
Skills and Background Required
  • A minimum of two years' experience selling IT products or services over the phone
  • Demonstrable cold calling and closing skills
  • Track record of over-achieving targets
  • Strong team player
  • Motivated and target-oriented individual
  • First rate verbal communication skills
  • Attention to detail in reporting and administration
  • Gregarious and out-going
  • Self-starter, high energy and strong commitment
  • A technical vocabulary of Cisco, Microsoft or other relevant technologies

Instructors

As a highly successful accelerated technology training provider, Firebrand Training recognises that our instructors need to be far more than just skilled technologists. We look for the ability to translate complex technical theories into understandable concepts and applied knowledge.

In addition to teaching our technical programs, we expect our instructors to consult for a wide variety of businesses, helping them to acquire more extensive real-world experience which is reflected in the courses they teach and the curriculum they develop for us.

We anticipate that a successful Firebrand Training instructor will be a cross-certified industry professional - ranging from renowned authors to senior information technology consultants, with extensive real-world knowledge. Every Firebrand Training Instructor should be:

  • Certified in their chosen subject (in the case of Microsoft training we only employ Microsoft Certified Trainers)
  • Have a number of years experience in a senior consulting role
  • Provide accelerated instruction and guidance, covering fundamentals and hands-on concepts, and demonstrating real-world scenarios to solidify understanding

Firebrand Training instructors deliver curriculum, provide leadership, coach students to ensure successful information comprehension and retention as well as certification. Instructors provide group instruction and individual assistance with a keen ability to cater to every aptitude and background.
